POST VALENTINE REALITY
I don't know if you felt it, but yesterday morning came with a unique kind of adrenaline rush. Activities and Events abounded right here in Coal City. I'm guessing there are lots of break up and rifts in relationships as new ones were formed. though, i hope they were formed on the right foundation. About those babies that i am sure were conceived in several places on this planet, i do pray they make it into a good and loving home.
Those who got no Val dates, I'm sure they wished they had and either wallowed in self pity or made do with the love of friends and family. I hope you took some time to ponder on the word LOVE. and that u also expressed it in no unclear terms, to the people around u.
It was fun in my church's Valentine Splash. Several fora were set up for the Singles and Married. The Single ladies were concerned about having to be the ones who has to always be prim and proper to win the attention of the guys, most of whom care less about decorum.
On the issue of why seemingly jobless suitors seek the hand of, at least, Masters degree holders in Marriage, the guys said it is all about the ego and the conquest which dates back to the primitive African warrior tradition.
There were also very crucial issues like, ' WHY DO SOME CHRISTIAN GUYS THINK THAT TO DATE THEM MEANS THEY GET TO FONDLE YOU and WHY DOES BEING NICE TO A CERTAIN CHRISTIAN BROTHER IN THE CHURCH TRANSLATE TO DATING THEM, AND FOR THAT THEY ARE EXCLUSIVELY NICE TO YOU AND COULD CARE LESS ABOUT OTHER LADIES IN THE CHURCH.
the answers caused a buzz.

VALENTINE'S DAY
The Day of RED LOVE.
Lives will be impacted,
Hearts will be touched,
Babies will most certainly be conceived,
Innocence shall be lost.
Wherever Saint Val might be, i wonder how he feels on this day.
One thing I know however, is that Someone's blood was shed in my place one fateful day for ATONEMENT. It is He who willingly laid down His Life for mine that I celebrate this day and what He stood for, AGAPE LOVE.
I hope Boko Haram celebrates Val today with PEACE and ABSOLUTELY 'NO' BLOODSHED.

Hmmm.....
Holla, TGIM (Thank God It's Monday)!
Back to Work, School, and what have you. Ever paused to think of why you chose your current line of work/course of study? Maybe you figured it is the best of your available options, Or you were told by the buzz in the society that it is the most lucrative, Or even that of all the things you would have loved to do for a lifetime, this is the opposite end of the spectrum but it puts food on your table?
I am sure you know a lot better than I do where you fit in. And in case you happen to have no clue, especially because the tide of life by virtue of random events caused you to be where you are right now, it is a start. At least, i believe you took a moment to ponder.
Although I still have to ask, 'WHERE IN YOU ARE YOU?' Weird question, right? A far cry from the usual 'where are you?' Had i asked you that, you would have thought that i cared something about your physical location. Not in the least! You see, should you get the point of my question, then only would you have begun that journey to FULFILLMENT ON A DAILY BASIS. Believe me, you do not have to live another day without Passion, intoxicating Joy or Cool, Calm, Collected and Level-headed, if that's your style. You can choose to live a good life starting now! Because that is what all of life is out to give you. That is why the plane, universe and the galaxies had to be finished before you began. There is a Reason for You, programed into you very core, that is solely your prerogative to find, unlock and begin to live. And until you make that discovery, what you have now is probably the best you are ever going to have but don't want to have otherwise, you wouldn't be on this blog. But, thank God, that i want nothing more than to help you find that You in you, amidst all the ruckus going on in there. You are here for a Reason and on a Journey. You have to find out your WHY in other to know your HOW lest other people give you an IDENTITY and use/abuse the living day light out of you.
JUST THINK: Where in me am I? Is this the future i was hoping for just yesterday? Is this my best? Seeing that I've got just one life to live, and is currently writing my own history, how's my story going so far?
... THERE'S HOPE!
